System Fighter Removal Guide
There is a new rogue application called System Fighter. If you find this rogue on a computer, these are the things you can do to remove it. Use system restore utility and restore the computer at a prior restore point before the possible date of infection. Or otherwise you can try to remove it manually. You need to follow these steps.
- Enable to view hidden files and folders
- remove processes from Task manager
ntvdm.exe, SystemFighter.exe, setup.exe and random looking names like hky3.tmp.exe - Remove entries of the above files and SystemFighter Software\SystemFighter from windows startup, which you can access using the msconfig command.
- Search and delete the folders SystemFighter Software\SystemFighter and the files listed above from the computer’s hard disk using the windows search utility
- In the end use a freeware temp files cleaner like the CCleaner to celan the temp files and the registry.
- Check the computer with online Scanners to find out if the computer is clean and safe.
